Shekhar R is a practising Chartered Accountant based in Bengaluru with more than 15 years of experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation. He has been in independent practice for the past 11 years, advising individuals, businesses and corporates on complex tax and regulatory matters.
His core strength is tax litigation. He represents clients in Direct and Indirect tax disputes, from assessments and departmental proceedings to appeals before appellate authorities. His qualifications in accountancy, corporate law, cost management and law allow him to combine technical tax knowledge with sound legal reasoning. This helps him build well-documented, defensible positions for his clients.
He also holds the Diploma in International Taxation (DIIT), a specialised course of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
